The FrostGuard

The FrostGuard was developed for fruit growers, grape growers and vegetable growers, to be used in greenhouses, plastic tunnels and small vineyards and orchards. However, due to its flexibility and ease of use, more and more growers use it for larger areas. The FrostGuard will fight night frost AND improve your fruit set.
The FrostGuard Revolution
The FrostGuard Revolution is AgroFrost’s most popular model, introduced to the market in 2016. With its smaller size and lighter weight than the previous model, the introduction was particularly popular.
The Revolution is completely closed with doors on all sides, and the doors and roof are insulated to prevent condensation and to reduce noise. The Revolution can also be equipped with an Auto Start System; Just set the temperature at which you want the machine to start, and you’re done!
The FrostGuard Basic
Although the FrostGuard Basic is an economic model, AgroFrost has not cut back on safety and quality.
The Basic can easily be put in place due to its lower weight and 3 wheels. There are different set up options for the Basic: place in the field with 3 bottle holders mounted on the machine, it can be connected to a 1100 lb. tank, or it can be connected to a container that holds 5 or 6 gas bottles. The Basic even fits into this container making it easy to transport or store.
Unlike the FrostGuard Revolution, the Basic cannot be equipped with an Auto Start System and is not completely closed with doors.

The FrostBuster
The Frostbuster provides many advantages compared to other frost protection systems. With the Frostbuster, you can protect your crops in places where no water is available or protect fruit which cannot be protected with water. Not only can it be used during radiation and wind frost, but many farmers also use the Frostbuster to improve fruit set
The Frostbuster is a trailed or 3-point mounted machine. The powerful fan is driven by the PTO of the tractor and a gas burner heats the air up to 175°-185°F. The heated air is blown between the trees through the 2 outlets. The total surface that can be protected depends on the shape and dimensions of the plot and the Frostbuster model, with the maximum being around 20 acres.
Instead of warming up the atmosphere, the Frostbuster uses phase transition to protect your orchards and vineyards. By controlling the ice forming and by recuperating the energy that is liberated when vapor changes into ice, it provides excellent protection with a minimum input of energy.
